What does the NMT offer? The NMT has an enormous storehouse of knowledge which is relevant to the profession. All of that knowledge is made available to you through the NMT Members Service. The Members Service deals with some 30,000 questions from NMT members per year. They may be questions about practising your profession, running a practice, rates, insurance, administrative issues and questions about the Individual Health Care Professions Act (wet BIG) or other legislation and regulations. Other questions relate to conflicts or complaints. You can also come to us with questions about the products and services of the NMT or NMT membership. Members Service staff have years of experience of dental practice. As such, the Members Service is able to offer wide-ranging advice. If the Members Service cannot answer your question directly, they can call on the extensive knowledge of legal advisers and other specialists in different fields within the NMT.
